Uranus is very particular about the way you pronounce her name. She would like you to know that the proper, scientific pronunciation of her name is: YOOR-en-us. No other pronunciation is acceptable. That said, Uranus is a bit of a perfectionist. Concerned only with her studies, she spends her time with her nose in a book, whether calculus, quantum physics, or a good romance novel. She does, however, spend some time hounding her more tranquil twin, Neptune, to be a little more responsible. Uranus firmly believes the more you learn when you are young, the greater good you can do when you are older. And she intends to do great things.

- Her earrings were a hard choice. Craig McCracken is the one who suggested apples. [1]
- Seriously. Don't call her "Your anus". It makes her extremely angry and hot tempered.[2]
- She is one of three characters that wears glasses, the other two being Neptune and Ceres, the latter always wearing them.
- She is one of four main characters who never exposed her navel with the other three being Venus, The Moon and Pluto.
- Other than The Moon, she is one of four characters who once didn't smile other than chibis (she looked neutrally at Neptune on the group portrait). The Other three are Milky Way, Saturn, and Pluto.
- Her sound loop in the flash game is an 8-bit sawtooth and shares her melody with Neptune.
- She is incredibly similar to the titular protagonist of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Twilight Sparkle, due to their interest in books. In fact, Lauren sketched the two reading together at Comic Con 2012 (see right).
