- Saturn's episode for the animated series has gotten a storyboard called Saturn Beat Boards, albeit cancelled.
- Saturn's shirt varies in length in each of her artworks, starting very small in her original artwork to the point of being long enough to reach her navel.
- The third outfit for Milky Way's paper doll is similar to Saturn's attire.
- Her appearance bares resemblances to Shantae from the Shantae video game series. However, she was redesigned and now resembles her less.
- She is the only character that doesn't wear her symbol as her earrings. Her symbol is also based on the actual planet, similar to The Moon.
- Saturn's color scheme consists of teal, despite the fact that she has no teal anywhere on her design.
- Her redesign has some minor similarities to Jessica Cruz from Lauren Faust's later project, DC Superhero Girls, such as wearing a shirt that's too large and exposes her underneath tank top.
