There is no place in the universe Neptune would rather be than in the water! Riding waves and catching rays, she is the galaxy’s resident beach babe---or beach bum, you might also say. Although Neptune is quite active, she’s got the most laid back attitude this side of the solar system---quite the opposite of her studious twin, Uranus. Neptune’s philosophy is to “go with the flow,” a mantra that keeps her stable both in life… and in the water.

"Warp Speed Wahine" from a 2009 capture of the website. It was changed to "Celestial Surfer Girl" years later.
- Neptune, along with Milky Way made a cameo on a poster in Bronies: The Extremely Unexpected Adult Fans of My Little Pony during the animation sequence.
- She is one of three characters that wears glasses, the other two being Uranus and Ceres, the latter always wearing them.
- Neptune is the only second class character to be shipped as a doll to a fan.
- Her nickname is "Celestial Surfer Girl" but was once changed to "Warp Speed Wahine". It probably changed back either because speed is a trait for Mercury or the term "wahine" (mainly representing Hawaiians) didn't properly work with her.
- Unlike other characters, Neptune's original artwork was not remastered.
- A study in January 2024 reveals that Neptune the planet is a similar color to Uranus. With the character Neptune having teal attributes rather than blue, which people assumed was the planet's actual color, she was telling the truth all this time.
